Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Cardiac Rehabilitation

Cardiac Rehab is a comprehensive, long-term program including medical evaluation, prescribed exercise, cardiac risk factor modification, education, and counseling. We offer a medically supervised program which is typically initiated 1-3 weeks after hospital discharge and we provide appropriate electrocardiographic monitoring during exercise.

Cardiac Rehab is designed for people who have or have had a heart attack, heart condition such as coronary artery disease, angina or heart failure. It is designed for people who have had a heart procedure or surgery including coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery, coronary angioplasty and stenting, valve replacement, or a pacemaker or implantable cardioverter defibrillator.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Pulmonary Rehabilitation is for individuals who have been diagnosed with pulmonary disorders such as COPD, emphysema, asthma, lung cancer, cystic and pulmonary fibrosis and pulmonary hypertension. Pulmonary rehab consists of closely monitored exercise, nutrition counseling, and pulmonary education two times per week. Oxygen is supplied for participants. Ask your doctor today if you would benefit from pulmonary rehabilitation.
