House Supervisor Telehealth Coordinator (RN)
JOB SUMMARY:
The House Supervisor/Telehealth Coordinator will coordinate and maintain the level of quality patient care expected by Eastland Memorial Hospital. The House Supervisor role is one of authority and responsibility and entails staffing scheduling and assignment changes to meet the needs of the organization, directing patient care and making administrative decisions in the absence of Hospital leadership. The House Supervisor/Telehealth Coordinator will serve as the primary resource to area skilled nursing facilities to provide professional nursing care and oversight for residents from a telemedicine platform to assess and intervene as needed to provide exceptional care and outcomes for residents.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
A. Education: Successful completion of registered nursing program. Two years of clinical experience preferred.
B. Personal Job-Related Skills: Planning, organizing and completing assigned work in a timely manner, working effectively and accurately under narrow time limitations utilizing time, equipment and materials to the most efficient manner possible is a requirement. Must maintain a calm demeanor, be able to de-escalate tense situations, problem solve and troubleshoot situations to resolve in the absence of hospital leadership, and promote exceptional patient centric care.
C. Licensure, Registry or Certification: Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Texas.
D. Experience:
1. Prior Work Experience: Clinical systems, technology and computer skills required.
2. Technical Training: Previous telehealth training preferred or will successfully master the technology during the initial training timeframe.
E. Physical and Mental Requirements: Duties of the position require sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day. Must be flexible to adjust to various details of the job which include frequent interruptions, multiple projects, and requests for interpretations of various regulations. Visual acuity is required to read and prepare a variety of reports. Normal range of hearing is required to communicate effectively with a variety of customers.
This is a 7 pm - 7 am position.
